This is research of 1 year to make a simple Voltage regulator for small and big scale too. The values of the components are these: top left Tr/TIP127 PNP Hfe 1000/Darlington, top right Tr/ 2N3055 NPN Hfe 40, bottom Tr/ TIP122 NPN Hfe1000 Darlington. The carent where transfer TIP 127 from emitter to collector/base 2N3055 always is stable no mutter if external input voltage increase from 25-70volt.Zener current in this case is very small because because of the Darlington high gain,in other case the zener carent increase dramatically if you use Hfe 20-100 Tr gain. So I peak a 5w value but 2w is enough thow for this circuit.
