This is my first time using counters and logic gates. Let me know why you think guys .. And if I could have done it better or in a simpler way. Thanks

Not too bad for your first try. However there is a much simpler way(perhaps mine is the most simple I'm not too sure). Regardless though, you only need one AND gate for this particular type of counter. If you look at my list of circuits you'll find my counter simplified with an explanation. I'll include your name in it as well.
