This is standard, but I give values for a working circuit. Pin 5 is open. Pins 6&2 measure a capacitor charge and discharge. Pin 3 gives a .5 volt to 15 volt. rectangle wave, 17 microsecond on time, 7 microsecond off. The last 2 resistors step pin 3 to a voltage digital circuits can handle. DS
