Here is the 2nd version of my capacitor circuit. Now you have ~8.4 mA max output at the resistor and ~8.4 mA min output if you add more capacitors you'll get more output. If you also decrease the resistors resistance you'll get more max output but less min output and other way around... Have fun :)

Use one capacitor set at 1 milli farads and it will reduce the ripple to 8.32-8.46 milliamps. Also, just a note, you only need one ac power supply.

With these two power supplies being in series the max voltage is the sum of each power supply. So the max voltage in this case it 6 volts, so if you take one power supply out you will have to increase the voltage of the remaining power supply to 6 volts for it to be equal to this circuit.
