A simple circuit with a full half-wave diode bridge and a large electrolytic capacitor illustrating how an AC-voltage easily can be converted into a DC-voltage, useful for many purposes. Experiment with the resistor and capacitor values to control the current into the circuit and the time it takes to charge the capacitor. Have fun! :-)
