This circuit can be used in detecting intensity of the incident radiation the AC source should be replaced with a battery and a photo resistor or a photodiode. The changes in resisitance provides a deviating voltage which is simulated by the ac source and gets amplified. Voltage as low as 20uV can be simulated.
