This assembly apart from the PSU and the voltmeter which represents the load is basically the standard on/off used for workshop equipment.
Pressing the to top push switch (normally the relay contact forms the push switch) links the 240Vrms AC 50HZ to the coil pulling in the contact which then supplies power to the coil.
Pressing the bottom plunger breaks the circuit to the coil releasing the contact.
