Switch on right still receiving power when switch on left is connected. How can I fix that?

Remove one of the diodes. You'll notice which one.

If you are asking about the (switch) have power on them, turn the switch around so only a single pole not the switch will have power on. This is used in mains disconnect (interrupt) so no open connection that can be reached have power.
