Voltage Bias Oscillator

Doesn’t work in the simulation but you can easily build it in real life and I’m pretty sure it works in real life. It works like this: The gate of the mosfet slowly charges up through the high-value resistor, and then opens the gate, allowing current to flow from drain to source. The gate shuts immediately after because there is a strongly biased voltage due to the high value resistor and the voltage gets pulled away from the gate. Now current can’t flow from drain to source anymore, so the gate of the mosfet starts charging up, and the cycle repeats. The diode is there to insure that the gate fully discharges. I plan on using this to drive a Tesla coil, so let me know if there are any ways I can raise the frequency and optimize this circuit.
