NOT Logic Gate with 1 NPN Transistor and 1 switch. Also known as a Logic Inverter. This gate takes a positive voltage input and gives a zero voltage output, and vice versa. Current will only flow through load resistor if switch (bottom left) is open. If switch is closed current will not flow through load.
(Note: I'm still working on perfecting this circuit to give a reading closer to zero when the switch is closed. Right now a certain amount of voltage (approx 30 mV) is still present during the zero condition. The basic principle should work though.)
