Switching Battery Eliminator Circuit with interactive input voltage and output load. Node Label: * Blue: BB PWM. * Red: Output voltage. Input Voltage(vin): 1S to 4S Ouput Voltage(vout): 5 Max output current: 3S 1A, 3S> 5A Reference voltage (vref) is based on 1V zener, voltage drop across the diode may change with changing input voltage. To adjust vref adjust the potentiometer wiper value, if output voltage >10 change the zener voltage, vref ratio to vout is 100mV:1V. PWM sensitivity: 10mV, floor is vref. PWM max duty: 68.75% PWM min duty: 0%

Wow that's cool. Nice job. 👍 Did you notice that one your output voltage reaches 5.12V or thereabouts, the output voltage suddenly drops down to around 4.12V before going back up. Maybe there's not much you can do about that. I have similar problems too.

I think it's because of the fact that the control system is only proportional, the output is delayed to the input and it tends to overcompensate the input PWM, I'm not sure if it can really be tuned with only proportional response. Adding integral and differential response won't fit in to the workspace.

I think you can increase the pwm sensitivity to work around this but it would make the output voltage differ from the reference voltage.
