Multiple Switch Controlled Yard Light

Where the relay switch is should be a magnetic rotary ratchet electric switch. It is like a lamp switch you keep turning the same direction with the lamp doing ON and OFF cycles repeatedly. Think of that switch electrically turned one step when you push one 24 volt push button below. I did not find this motor rotary switch on Internet but an alarm company might be a supplier. Stringing one 24 volt line with push button switches grounded gives high numbers of control switches of yard lamp or many safety shut offs devices could be done.

A nice basic idea, reminds me of many washing machines where the rotary front switch moves round mechanically after each part of the program is completed...or perhaps I am thinking along the wrong track here?

Yes, but timing is not needed only ON or OFF each push of button.

The French, va et vein schematics may have some special switches. https://www.google.com/search?client=ms-android-americamovil-us&biw=360&bih=278&ei=z8cqWp4Ch6mPBMSXlPgC&q=Va+et+vien&oq=Va+et+vien&gs_l=mobile-gws-serp.12..41j0i67k1j0l3.28198.28198.0.39305.2.2.0.1.1.0.136.136.0j1.2.0....0...1c.2.64.mobile-gws-serp..0.2.164.3...169.wkT8B7VsNfY#imgrc=__hd60yf_v0RcM:
