Wiring to configure each power outlet (represented by a pair of lamps, 1 lamp per plug) to have independent configuration (switches nearest lamps respectively) use of a main power switch (the topmost switch) to control the plugs on or off. Example is a normal room configuration with a wall switch by the door and each of four walls has a pair of outlets nearer the floor, the difference is each outlet as well would have small single switch per plug installed into the plate cover (one above the top plug and one below the bottom plug) that makes the main wall switch control the outlets on or off feature, or otherwise switched to always on..
