Transistor based relay

Hello guys, this circuit employs only three transistors and three resistors. The first two are configured as inverters, the last transistor to the right, a buffer. The LED glows at the close of the switch, from a 1v source. Any addition is welcomed.

You can discard the 1v supply and connect switch to the 12v source and get the same result. Circuit merely saturates the base of all 3 transistors making it similar to 3 SPST switches.
