Voltage as pressure .. When the terrace tank is filled with water.. There is a gravitational force that acts on water which creates a pressure on water ( which is voltage) due to this pressure water flows down( current)

Voltage is potential energy. IE the electrons in a battery that are ready to flow when needed. The more electrons ready to go, the higher the voltage. Current is the actual amount of electrons flowing past a specific point. That's just the basic principle though.

If I had to explain what voltage is and what current is... I would refer to a garden.... you have a plant... and it needs an optimal amount of water to live... if you don't have enough water... the plant dies.... that's voltage = how many electrons are there... now with current.. if I increased the current from a garden hose... it FLOWS FASTER.
