Replace the load resistor with arduino analog pin.So 12 button inputs will work on one pin.

You will find the difference between each key press is to close for your code to distinguish correctly, look at the slope if you press every key, it levels out with hardly any difference between them. Take a look at my key pad set up, there is a 0.3 volt difference between each press, much easier to code.
