Yes, you r correct. This was a quick posting for my students to understand how AB audio amplifiers behave. Adding a 3rd diode , or a pot, to the bias ckt is needed for true AB. This circuit is buidable to illustrate a common amplifier output stage without requiring heatsinks on the transistors. Thanks for the feedback.
