This is a simple transistor switching circuit driver. The logic toggle can be 3v from a micro. There is a lot to play with here. You can keep adding as many LEDS as you need. It uses the voltage devider. This is so that you do not have to drive the LEDS at 12v, having the npn acting like a low voltage level logic switch.
