The circuit works, that is good, if you actually built it, you would be disappointed. Why, 1: The leds would appear to be on all the time. Why, the frequency of this circuit is about 1.3 kHz, to see a led blinking it needs to be less than 25 Hz. 2: The Leds only have 8 mA of current flowing through them instead of their 20 mA specification, this might not be enough to illuminate them, the led resistor needs to be around 120 Ohms. In the specifications for the 555 it is recommended that the minimum resistance for R1 & 2 be greater than 1 k Ohm, this would happen anyway to get the frequency down to less than 25 Hz.

EveryCircuit is an easy to use, highly interactive circuit simulator and schematic capture tool. Real-time circuit simulation, interactivity, and dynamic visualization make it a must have application for professionals and academia. EveryCircuit user community has collaboratively created the largest searchable library of circuit designs. EveryCircuit app runs online in popular browsers and on mobile phones and tablets, enabling you to capture design ideas and learn electronics on the go.
