A good example! Comparators are super useful, and widely used circuits. Here's a couple tips from me to you, that will benefit the community: I moved the power source to the left just one space, and it eliminated the crossed wires. I know by looking at it that the reference voltage is set by the potentiometer tied to the Op-Amp's positive input, but many users just starting out won't know that- perhaps you could include a brief operational description for the good example circuits you post publicly. Lastly, I adjusted the output resistor to 1K, and Rc to 560 netting 19.6mA through the LED. It's a little dimmer, but we've increased it's longevity. I hope this helps and, keep up the good work!..

Really? 14mA Ibe to get 14mA Ice. That kind of defeats the purpose of a transistor, doesn't it?
