Quick cheep li-ion charger The parts used, listed below. 1 lm7805 voltage regulator. 6 - 1n4007 diode. This arrangement of parts provided 4.22 volts to my battery, a very slow charge to top, otherwise the circuit is a one amp charger. Or overnight charger, for the vaping buff that uses a higher output battery. There is no cut off circuit as this is not needed. Once the battery and circuit reach the same potential no more current flow's to the battery. I use this circuit in a 8 cell charger, I copied the circuit 8 times for my charger. Each circuit take's about 1 inch (25mm) of board space. Remember too use a good heatsink and if more than a couple of battery a fan will be a good choice to keep everything cool while changing. Too control the heatsink temperature you can use a 9 volt regulator before the 5 volt and a resistor at the input of the 9 volt reg. The resistor helps drop Voltage going to the regulator in turn dropping the heating effect.
