Starting with line voltage stepped down to 12 volts, open and close switches to see waveform at 5 K load resistor change in this 1/2 power supply. Give several seconds between switch changes to see how new waveforms look.
With switch over diode and 2 k resistor open, and both vertical 100 if capacitors closed, we get output to load of 7.91 volts at 1.58 mA. Watts = E times I, or 12.5 mW. = 7.91 volts times .00158 amps
