Adjust sim speed from 50ms\s to 200ms\s and increase your 10K resistors to 50K. Close the SPST switch and wait a few seconds for the circuit to begin flashing.

Thanks! I appreciate your help. Could you tell me why it wasn't working?

I've adjusted the biasing resistors to a point where the circuit starts to oscillate the fastest, as shown it takes about 500ms to start, if the time base is set to 50ms the waiting time would be at least 10 seconds for oscillations to start , http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5327346207555584

Ok, now here is the mystery, using similar components, why is this oscillator running at a speed that is at least 12 times higher than the above sample; http://everycircuit.com/circuit/4594326555066368

Thanks for your analysis. I'm pretty new to making circuits, although, I do have a decent knowledge of theory and components. That's from college back in the day. I want to pick this all back up as a hobby again!
