Our fishing boat has 120 volt DC power supply.  We have big fish on line, a tuna, swordfish, or shark.  We need to land onto boat.  One hundred pounds of thrashing fish can be a handful.

First,we throw ground wire with plate into the water.  We have short insulated wire going from hook up fishing line.  We connect wire from lamp to insulated hook wire. Flip switch a few times if needed to stun catch with our hook to plate in water circuit.  I use lamp for one amp current but you will have to find out how much zap for your fish to calm them for boarding.
