TV Remote Jammer

TV remote jammer using the famous old-fashioned NE555 as an oscillator, I've picked the frequency to be around 50kHz, Here's how to calculate It, consider T as the period when the NE555 is high, then T = 0.7(R1+R2)*C/, when it's low T = 0.7R2*C/,thus the total period is 0.7(R1+2R2)*C so the frequency f = 1.4/(R1 + 2R2), now you can set up your own frequency using NE555, I've used 9 Volt battery because I need more than 5 for the oscillator you work, the LED only need 3-5 V so a resistor can fix all that, used a transistor to recompensate the drop of current due to the circuit's resistance, there's not infrared LED in the app, that why I've chosen the fairly close color (and name) to it a red LED but you may want to use infrared if you try to make it, It's easy enough to DIY and I encourage that, Hope you like It :)
