Always test multivibrator circuits at a 1 second time base, if they won't work at this time base, they probably won't work in real life. Led circuits that are designed to run at frequencies higher than about 15 Hz cannot be seen in real time. Adjust the base resistor to keep the base/collector current ratio to approximately the same as the transistor gain will allow a more stable operation of the circuit. http://everycircuit.com/circuit/6414064760913920
