trying to help hurtz understand single wire power transmission. Although this is technically not as acurate a representation of how single wire power transmission works than my first example. Hope this helps.

@BIPfx, how far are your counting. Have you reached alreay 1? Next is 2. Do that loud and clear. 1, 2 and again 1, 2 amd the bulb will glow. Funny. If you count 1, ... and 1, ... and the bulb will not glow, holy shit.

After we have clarified your single wire nonsense you can continue the lesson to count to two. 1, 2 centimeter again 1, 2cm and stop http://everycircuit.com/circuit/4624351782240256 lol stop at 2cm

No we know what it is, but you haven't described nothing of how it actually works.

It isn't single wire,, the ground icon is the second wire.. Electricity needs return path.. And thank god for that, cause that means science is common sense too.

the ground icon is a wire ? cause im pretty sure ground means ground. are you suggesting to make that setup work , you need a wire connecting earth ground to earth ground ? How do you think our 3 phase ac power transmission system works then? Three phases of alternating current only requires three wires for direct transmission. think about it.
