Has anyone else had problems when running simulations involving the D type flip flop? Various circuits either crash immediately or in certain stages of operation

Why don't you should us an example of such a circuit so that we can help you out, instead of posting a d flipflop alone as nobody can help you out with this. Post a circuit that's glitchy and we can help you out.
