It uses the logarithmic region of a transistor, an op amp buffer, a nand-gate oscillator and a mosfet. The input voltage is a sawtooth which makes the frequency of the oscillator increase veeeeery slowly. I haven’t managed to bias it correctly yet so it starts at 5V. It’s probably not a very applicable circuit in the real world, but it’s a step lol.
