Nice basic circuit. You can also use it to debounce a pushbutton. This maces sure, the circuit changes its state only once when you press the button, no matter if the mechanical contact keeps bouncing. The output will only change when the contact touches either set or reset first, no matter how often. This is verx important if you work with button operated counters or microcomputers.

Cool. I love flip flops and latches. It's really called a "NOR" Latch. I wish it comes with a push button.
