Modified bug zapper copy

I was online trying to find a picture of a circuit board because when I was looking at was missing something and stumbled across a modified bug zapper claim.  This is the best I could do copying what was listed but I'm not seeing anything special here.  One problem I encountered the diagram was not well annotated then does not have a legend.

The circuit has the basic components of a voltage multiplier, except for the fact that it would rely upon an AC voltage source. Maybe it's missing some form of oscillator and power amplifier to provide that voltage.

Nah even putting an AC voltage into it doesn't help, that circuit needs a lot of work ..

It was a pain in the butt to get it into every circuit. The design is lucid and has several unnecessary 45° turns. I have started one based on a bug zapper I have but keep forgetting to save it. It has a six contact transformer I'm still trying to figure out. I've only recently starting learning more about circuitry.
