This Oscillator is designed to drive a high voltage transformer as the load inductor. Here, the inductance is only 1uH, so you can hopefully make the transformer much smaller. Otherwise, if your design and trade-offs are carefully and creatively analyzed, then you could possibly get it to work with a larger primary inductance, and simultaneously multiply the voltage at the primary, meaning, (with the same ratio transformer) the output (secondary coil) voltage is many times larger than it previously was! But, if you do decide to change the inductance, make sure the capacitor is also changed appropriately to ensure it still resonates at the same frequency, otherwise if trying to achieve a different frequency, you’ll have to adjust the LC filter at the emitter of the driving transistor!
