I am still in the process of learning electronics and I can't for the life of me figure out why the capacitor discharges so slowly when I flip the switch onto the LED. I am trying to design my own circuit for an EMP. Although it's basic and there are millions of circuits on the internet, I want to design and build my own for the learning experience. So a solution, an explanation and even some tips would be greatly appreciated!
