Interestingly, in the description of one my (ehem) previous circuits I gave the call to anyone to try using this particular topology in a more creative fashion. I thought, anything they come up with will be better than the worn out old two-transistor mock up we all know and..... love. Since then I've kept a watchful eye but until today when Mr stylez here posted this circuit, my call had gone unanswered. So, @styl002- I don't care about if, how or why and i'm not too big a man to say- good job kid. You are the first to grab a creative thread and run with it. To dream up this design, I'd say you were thinking outside the blinkie box and for that- my kudos to you..
