It indicates the direction of the voltage, even low voltage. RED LED--------POSITIVE DIRECTION BLUE LED------NEGATIVE DIRECTION

1) Just hook it up to AC and it blinks back and forth by itself. I'm too lazy to flip a switch. =) 2) What are the input limits? Again, I'm lazy. I could figure it out myself, but you could just tell us, too. =) Great work, as always mi amigo.

Actually, at first glance it looks like if you changed that 10K resistor at the input to a meg, it would work in the .1W to 1000W range pretty well, without putting any serious load on the transistors. I guess you could always use power transistors...
