Discharges 100uf Cap through LED at 300 mA Peak Pulse Takes 40mA  peak from the supply LED is 3.2 volt 280 mA the resistor on pin 5 set the width of tOn

PNP charges C when pin 3  is low tOff set by 3  k timing resistor 

NPN discharges C through LED when pin 3  is high tOn 

Yellow Trace   Supply Current 
Blue  Trace LED Current 

You do this a lot simpler then this just using 555 no transistors but keep getting can't find solution error after 4 flashes
