⭐️FLASHING LEDs and 7-segment displays⭐️

7-segment displays are extremely versatile and are widely used in digital clocks, electronic meters, basic calculators, and other electronic devices that display numerical information. This circuit is a good example of their application, in this example a flashing mini bill board courtesy of the 555 timer. The resistor connected to pin 2 & 7 determines the flashing rate. Touch logic source pad to initiate and end circuit flasher sequence. Enjoy...😎

They are old unflexibel consum to much current, they are yesterday technology. They are everything but not versatile. Clocks and calculators with LEDs are usless crap devices from 50years ago. Get alife go out and check what todays technology can do.

24/7 in your basement room and you tell us LEDs are "versatile" and state of the art technology, get alife funny little man

Go out shopping and try to buy a calculator with LEDs, 😂

I can't wait for the pair of you to actually publish a circuit because I have so much to say about you guys - on your circuits. Let's continue this conflict and see how the EC community reacts?

I have a from '75 using 7-segment VFDs... Still works perfectly and not useless at all.

@hurz clocks with LED 7-segment displays are still abundant, also still in production. What are you talking about? Do you mean watches? Those are basically non-existent in contemporary production but they are still nice and most still work.

7-segment displays are extremely versatile, They display digits thats all they do. Is this versatile. For Lenny anything is versatile he does not care if or if not.

@westwlaudio,.maybe you know what they make "versatile"?

This is charlatan language!

He is selling his snake oil and sure for a boring 555 stinky flashy it need some nice word around, so nobody comes to the idea its something old we habe seen millioms of times before. Plus stars surrounded @westelaudio, whats new about this drawing? Nothing, right!

@westelaudio, Werner has deliberately singled me out and faults every circuit and every description I publish. The reason why I’ve been deliberately singled out is because I reject his technical advice to further improve my circuits. So you’re probably asking why would I reject his advice? For a number of reasons.
lenzrulz

Firstly, I despise his condescending nature. He’s extremely abrupt and rude whenever he offers advice. Now some would argue that I shouldn’t be so thin skinned and be offended so easily but this sort of argument merely sugarcoats his bad behaviour.
lenzrulz

The moment I reacted and requested a cessation of his condescending behaviour he responded in kind by launching a barrage of unsavoury comments on all my circuits.
lenzrulz

That was five years ago and it’s still continuing.

Werner’s defamatory comments are a form of cyberbullying and violates EC’s terms of use and has attracted likeminded individuals who have formed a coalition and occasionally “post & dash” except his nauseating lapdog who can’t think for himself, but I won’t waste any time discussing him.

The reaction of the EC community has been interesting ranging from requesting that I ignore him (which doesn’t work) to asking Werner to stop behaving childishly. So moving forward, there will never be peace here on EC because Werner prefers conflict by refusing to stop posting comments on my circuits and I will never stop defending my rights to publish whatever I want without being stalked by a cyberbully.

Trust me when I tell you that if you continue posting the sort of comments that you’ve been posting, you too will be targeted.

If anything is versatile, an LED isn't. There is only one use for an Led.

Mr/Madam Lenzrulz...Be as nasty as you want, lie as much as you wish.. If and when you leave your room and go out,, watch and see how the look on the faces of strangers tells you.. , You are becomming UGLIER (physically), every day by the minute...as a result of your phsycopathic nasty behaviour......Its up to you, its your face you carry and have to carry with you.
lenzrulz

You prefer conflict rather than not posting comments on my circuits...😡
kiani

Now lets see if you understand s/th... when you post a circuit, then the post is not about you... It is about the circuit (you happen to've post)...... The circuits sometimes ask for help, and demand help, whether you want it or not...... The circuit needs saving and asked for help.... If you don't want them to ask for help., either sort them out, make them happy circuits., or lock them up private so they can't ask for help...... Get it,!?
lenzrulz

What you’re going to “get” is a lot of my opinions about your nauseating behaviour on your circuits until you understand not to post your comments on my circuits.
hurz

privat, voila problem solved
lenzrulz
Never, a much simpler solution is for you not to post your comments on my circuits!
kiani
Lenny you say all you want is no comments on your circuits. Then read, ,, you (noone) can gain respect by bullying and force,,, tomorrow there will be others whom will comment on your circuits.,, so you forever gona do this! Unreasonable,, illogical "my friend".
lenzrulz
Perhaps within a few weeks or so, you’ll become impatient and you’ll publish good circuits, not this garbage you’ve been posting lately baiting me to “spammm” (your word) them. And when you do guess what happens next? I will return all your nauseating comments on every good circuit you publish. Meanwhile, I’ll wait, I’ve been around for 5 years and counting, sooner or later you will begin publishing better circuits and then I’ll “return to sender” all your nausea.

@Bushmills repeatedly posts fallacious untenable narratives on my circuits accusing me of “spamming”, oh the hypocritical irony. Such pettiness speaks volumes about his assumption that the EC community are so stupid and gullible that they would actually believe his lying narratives!. Report such behaviour to the admins for their perusal. PLEASE NOTE: ** IF @Bushmills FALSE NARRATIVE APPEARS BELOW THIS POST then he has DELETED his PREVIOUS POST and REPOSTED IT AGAIN **

@Bushmills, any atmospheric toxicity comes from your keyboard as evidenced by your REPOSTED LYING NARRATIVES posted BELOW this comment! *BELOW* - Preposition Beneath, under, lower than, less than, inferior to, subordinate to, subject to, controlled by, under the heel of. That’s right, your lying narratives BELOW - never preceding my comments! Unfortunately, not even your cowardly script usage can help you!
