XOr gates and light display

I was trying to show the LEDs lighting in sequence and going around a circle, it hesitates, I know I am burning lots of leds.

Any Ideas?

All you need to do ferlop is place 56Ω resistors on your LED's, that will take care of the LED burning problem.

lenzrulz, the problem is no board space for more components except for a couple more maybe. and i want to keep what is there now. Virtual leds burning, not a big deal, right? I'll take a look at roops 1967
