This transistor power supply uses AC voltage to provide the both positive and negative ground,the AC transformer doesn't have to be a center tap transformer. Please note that the filter capacitors must be rated 2 times the peak voltage. This is a series pass transistor power supply,the 2 potentiometers control the output voltage on the rails. The 1 meg resistor and 500 ohm are load resistors,the 22.5 ohm resistors are 5 Watt. The transistor are tip31c and tip32c,they can be standard power transistors
