How to charge a battery

Connect a battery to the system at the voltmeter on the right. Switch the capacitor at 100V into the battery. The circuit uses 50mA. Only for 110V outlet.

Basic cap dropper circuit, horrible power factor, so never would be used in industrial applications where you're charged for active and reactive power, but for consumers, whom don't pay for horrible PF, it's fine. Power company still hates you for using one though 😅 One safety feature that's missing is 10k-100k Ohm across each AC cap for bleed down when disconnected. Without those caps will hold charge, potentially causing a shock hazard even after disconnected, but other than it, it's solid 👍
