You can charge a LED Torch from your 5 volt Mobile Charger i used a Capacitor as a Torch battery but you must use a 4 volt smal battery with 0.7 to 1 amp or above and this time i'm using 0.7 amp small battery in this circuit and it is working very well.

I know that supercaps are available up to 50F. But considering this as power supply im curious how long such torch will remin on in reality and what are allowble charging current. I'm also curious how ppl deal with gradual voltage drop during discharge. Caps do not have constant voltage during whole discharge proces as battery have and stabs is always an loss cause so i'm curious how this is overcomed.

Lazyboy u have 10 years outdated techncal informations. I will in your place slam a good asskick to your information provider for making from u a fool. Search and Read somewhat old info by now about supercapacitor technology and use of those to supply low power devices instead batterys.

Thay you Secuture, i misspoke, i know there are supercapacitors, but they are too expensive for a project like this, thats my opinion, probably because i live in country where electrnic components can be up to 5 times more expensive than the rest of the world
