On delay using 555 .
This circuit holds on for some period before switching on. This is brought about by R1 and C1 for the determined period. For now am using 10uf for C1. I have voltmeter attached to it to monitor the rise in voltage as it charges. Once it gets to ⅔V of line voltage, it will output at Pin 3 . R1 300kΩ can be potentiometer to set desired time period.
20kΩ is for quick capacitor discharge.
Once switch is closed, across C1 begin to rise to get to 8V in this regard
