There I have a more realistic inductance

But 10H is still unrealistic!!! My transformer has an inductance of around 2H.

This has an inductance of around 50 micro Henrys

If a Tesla coil has a primary inductance of 2 Henry’s it’s probably not an air core transformer

I mean, the power transformer at the input. Ok one more question, why do you use 60Hz?

Because that’s the wall frequency

I’m using a neon sign transformer, or NST

Oh, I don't have a neon transformer but I do have a laminated iron core 12-0-12 5A transformer whose inductance is about 2H. 2H is still pretty much but I don't know the inductance of a neon transformer. I have only seen tesla coils ranging from 22kHz to about 1MHz.

try to catch the blue trace at its minimum 0A current and output swing green trace will be maximum ! http://everycircuit.com/circuit/5397131505172480
