Inspired by diggu but this circuit doesn't need the reset button pushed each time it's turn on. It can be reset by both turning off and on or press reset button. Make sure short has been fixed before reset. This will also protect from reverse poll battery. Also note a fuse or circuit breaker should be fitted to all power supplies.
