Volte, with every stage (two diodes) you get 5V more to the initial voltage. If you have 5 stages, you get 5*5V+5V. If you run the simulation too fast, you get chaotic and wrong results, as you have here. Also the good old 555 pin3 bug, you remember? For 300V you need a lot more stages or a much higher initial voltage. This configuration wont work in real.

Oh thankyou hurz. ☺ I tryed it in real life and I couldn't get it higher than 80v with about the 11 diodes like this one. I even had about 6 volts going through my 555 timer

with 6V supply you wont even get 80V with this circuit
