It only starts or stops by opening/closing the switch, right? Or am I missing something?

ok 2 thing I am try to do with this for my car. 1. power off if it need to be off ( as the car keeps ligher on ) 2. is as this car does a stop and start this sometime cut off the caram what I am try to do is keep power up for that 5 sec

so with the 2 cap I keep the power up for 5 sec with the diode stop power going back and the light ( just a load for this testing )
