Flashing Led Rectifier

Noob, only my second circuit on here, wondering if you could rectify ac voltage with leds??? Also ill admit, i have a lot to learn using every circuit. any help/bashing my sh*t work appreciated.

You can, but the normal Leds are low current. Also the Leds will be illuminated at all times. So there it not really beneficial.

don't try that with mains voltage though, practical LEDs has reverse breakdown voltage of about 5v only
