*Using a switch to simulate a thermostat*
1. Battery (+) connects to a switch or thermostat, the
(+) side of the relay coil, and the common terminal
of relay.
2. Connect the (normally open terminal) of the relay
to the ( + ) motor terminal.
3. Connect Battery ( - ) to the ( - ) side of relay coil and
the ( - ) side of the motor.
Operation:
A. Switch closed
B. Sends power to the relay coil.
C. Relay energizes, allowing n.o. contacts to close,
which connects 12 volts to the motor.
