Inside of the "OR"(RED) and "AND" Gate(blue) using DTL(Diode-Transistor Logic) The OR Gate have diodes facing "positive" direction and the AND Gate have diodes facing "negative" direction, so it needs to amplify a small amperage to make a positive output.
