Very neat way to help people understand phases. I have been playing with this app for a week showing people how "scope" functions work. When turned on in your demo it makes it way easy to see sine waves 120 deg out. Great demo.

You can also think of each light as one of the 3 sets of coils in a 3 phase motor, move the center up a little and it would symbolize the rotating magnetic field
